You may have heard people tell you that you are a "child of God."   Do you fully understand all that the title "child of God" means?  没有人能真正理解这个头衔的力量.  To help understand who a "child of God" is, let's look at some common characteristics of children. 

1. Children are born into a family (they didn't choose the family)
2. Children carry their parents" genes/DNA (their parents" characteristics, "image") " "He is so much like his dad/mom."
3. Children are protected by their parents (parents provide food, protection and insurance)
4. 孩子们长大后想要像爸爸/妈妈一样
5. 孩子们的父母教他们道德/伦理.
6. Children develop their "identity" from the parents or family - "I"m a Christopherson,或者“哦”, 她是他们的孩子...这回答了所有问题."
7. 孩子从父母那里继承遗产 

The above characteristics match exactly the "conditions" you enjoy as a "child of God."  如果你 have ever personally committed yourself to the Lordship of Jesus, you are a "child of God." Here are some parallels of that identity, with the above list.

1. 作为“神的孩子”，你是 “生在神的家里."  You chose to be "reborn," and "adopted" into the "family of God."

2. 作为“神的孩子”，你 拥有你天父的形象." His presence in you, through the Holy Spirit, should increasingly change you to reflect that "image."  

“不要互相说谎, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.歌罗西书3:9,10

3. 作为“神的孩子”，你是 受到天父的保护,上帝.  他提供你生存和繁荣所需的一切.

"...神圣的父亲, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one.约翰福音17:11

所以我告诉你们, 不担心你的生活吗, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, 你会穿什么?...Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, 你们的天父尚且养活他们. 你不比他们更有价值吗? ...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.马太福音6:25 -33

4. 作为“神的孩子”，你 长大后想要变得“圣洁”， 你们的天父是圣洁的.

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 这就是我们! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.约翰一书3:1,2

5. 作为“神的孩子”， 你的天父教导你道德/伦理.  His Word is filled with His promises regarding standards, consequences and rewards.

“我的儿子, 你不轻看主的管教吗, 他责备你们，你们也不要丧胆, 因为耶和华所爱的，他必管教, 凡被他收纳为儿子的，他都要惩罚. 'Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. ...Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, 使我们能分享他的圣洁.希伯来书12:5 -10

6. 作为“神的孩子”，你 从神的话语中发展你的“身份” 以及上帝的其他家庭成员. 

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.加拉太书2:20

7. 作为“神的孩子”，你 从神那里得到永恒的产业.

"For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, 你们却领受了儿子的灵. 我们借着他喊，阿爸，父."  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.  如果我们是孩子, 我们就是后嗣，就是神的后嗣，和基督同作后嗣, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.罗马书8:15 -17

As with all children, you have the "right" to reject your position as a "child of God."  There are several court cases in which children have "divorced,或者从父母那里“解放”出来.  神会让你“离开”他.  From the very beginning,上帝 has permitted His people to "reject" Him.  Those who chose to do so, no longer have any "inheritance" in God"s Kingdom. The story of the "prodigal son" in Luke 15 depicts God"s willingness to "welcome back" any one of us who strays from Him, 然后带着一颗忏悔的心回来.  It is a great "picture" of God"s forgiving, merciful "father"s heart."

作为“神的孩子”，你不需要完美. Your loving Heavenly Father forgives His children repeatedly.  就像对待任何父母一样，他只要求诚实和悔改.  In 1 John 1:9, your Heavenly Father clearly states His clear conditions for forgiveness:  

“如果我们承认我们的罪, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

作为“神的孩子”，你r Heavenly Father enjoys your questions, and even your complaints.  他最大的愿望是与你“相交”.  他想和你发展关系.  健康的关系包括诚实的对话. Here are some of His words about His desire for an honest relationship with Him:

耶和华说，你们来，我们彼此辩论. 你们的罪虽像朱红色, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, 他们必像羊毛.以赛亚书1:18

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 求鱼，反给他蛇? 如果你, 然后, 虽然你是邪恶的, 知道如何给你的孩子好礼物, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!马太福音7:7 -11
